The MTB trail in Hasle Bakker offers both uphill hairpin turns and technical challenges. At the top of Bakkekammen you can enjoy the beautiful view of Aarhus and far into the Lake District Søhøjlandet.
MTB trail in Hasle Bakker
The singletrack trail in Hasle Bakker is 5.5 kilometres long and starts just behind Tovhøjskolen. After 1 km it climbs steeply up Grimhøj, but you'll be rewarded at the top because from here you can look out over Søhøjlandet - the beautiful area with large forests, high peaks and many lakes. The trail winds through the meadow by Voldbækken and into the forest.
Later, the trail becomes technically challenging, and on the way back you can enjoy the great views again - this time over Aarhus from 105 metres above sea level, before you continue on the descent, where you get to practice your braking and cornering techniques.
