Scenic museum area
The Energy Museum is beautifully located by the Gudenåen river and Denmark's largest hydroelectric power plant, Tangeværket at Tange Lake. Here you can see the rushing water driving the old turbines and feel the rush of history in the generator room, which has produced green electricity for the Danes for over 100 years. In the large museum area, there's room to recharge and enjoy the food you've brought with you inside and out, as well as space to burn off energy on playgrounds, trampolines and more.
The Energy Museum offers exciting experiences for all ages.
