Brassø is part of the Silkeborg Lakes, through which the Gudenåen, Denmark's longest river, also runs, and the area is surrounded by lush nature and forests, where you can truly enjoy forest and water together. The lakes create an idyllic setting perfect for outdoor adventure and relaxation.
Family-friendly beach
The beach at Brassø is ideal for families with children. Here you'll find a cosy, child-friendly beach with a fenced-in bathing area that ensures a safe and secure bathing experience for the little ones. The beach is best accessed from the park De Små Fisk, which is right next to the landscaped sandy beach.
SUP experiences and fun water activities
The lake is ideal for SUP adventures, and if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing trip on the water and close to the city, Brassø is perfect.

There is a kiosk open during the summer period, a campfire site, tables and benches, waste bins, parking, information boards, a fenced-in mushroom area and a lifeguard post.
