All Saints Eve at Gammel Estrup

Gammel Estrup Museum is haunted! 31 October is a magical evening when mysterious things happen at the manor house in Djursland, and who knows if some of the manor's former residents will turn up...

Experience Gammel Estrup when darkness falls and hear the exciting ghost stories associated with the manor house. Venture into the dark cellar where supernatural phenomena and ghosts are said to lurk - if you dare! Take a stroll through the atmospheric gardens, where the night transforms the surroundings into a mysterious adventure.

When your nerves need calming, you can find warmth in the manor kitchen or the coffee rooms, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and taste the famous, delicious Gammel Estrup apple cake.

Practical information

The evening takes place on 31 October and is open for visits in groups at 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 9:00 PM.

Space is limited. You can buy tickets here from 1 October.

Gammel Estrup Danish Manor Museum

Gammel Estrup Danmarks Herrregårdsmuseum is Denmark's largest manor house museum where you can step into the history of the Danish manor houses. Since 1930, the museum has worked to preserve and develop Gammel Estrup, while at the same time communicating and researching the fascinating stories of the manor houses. Here you can gain insight into everything from magnificent architecture and beautiful landscapes to culture, history, agriculture and economy - both in Denmark and in an international perspective.
